Lead-lined doors
RX.
Lead shielding for radiology, CT and hybrid rooms. Sliding or hinged, with the thickness required by the project.

Radiation stays out.
People stay safe.
Lead-lined RX doors are designed for settings where shielding from ionizing radiation is required: radiology rooms, CT, angiography suites and all areas subject to radiation protection regulations.

Compliant with regulations
HD60 Profile
Custom-made works
Doors designed in compliance with the radioprotection requirements set by current regulations, integrable into the room’s overall shielding design prepared by the medical physicist.
For areas that also require airtight sealing in addition to lead shielding, such as operating rooms or sterile areas adjacent to interventional radiology zones.
For areas where only shielding from radiation is required, with no need for airtight sealing: standard radiology rooms, access corridors, passage areas with radiation protection requirements.
We design and build doors for radiology areas, where different needs coexist: from daily passage in the wards to protection from ionizing radiation in diagnostic and interventional rooms. Each door is configured according to the specific features required by the room.
Automatic

Shielding continuity
Various finishes
Available both in a manual version, for simple use and no automation maintenance, and in an automated version, for integration into high-traffic department workflows
Stop system and gaskets designed to ensure continuity of the lead shielding along the entire perimeter of the door leaf, preventing leakage at critical sealing points (stops, hinges, threshold).
Available with HPL laminate coating in the various catalog finishes, to match the aesthetics and hygiene standards required by the radiology department.
solutions for radiology rooms

We design and build RX doors with lead shielding for radiology areas where protection from ionizing radiation is required, such as diagnostic rooms, CT suites and interventional rooms.
The lead shielding is integrated into the panel and available in different thicknesses — 1, 2 or 3 mm lead equivalent — selected according to the value required by the health physicist for each specific room, ensuring protection for staff and patients.
The doors can be made as swing or sliding, and are available in both manual and automatic versions, to suit different layout and department flow needs.
Depending on the room’s requirements, they are offered with an HD60 profile, for rooms that also require airtight sealing in addition to shielding, or with an HD45 profile, where only radiation protection is needed without airtight sealing.

Hinges and sliding systems are sized to support the increased weight of the lead-lined leaf — a requirement that grows with the chosen lead thickness — ensuring smooth, safe movement over time.
The HPL laminate cladding, available in a wide range of catalogue finishes, allows the door to match the aesthetics and hygiene standards required by the department, in compliance with the radioprotection requirements set by current regulations.
